How do you show the ideas of an artist, without showing or directly imitating his or her work? This was the problem we were presented with while creating a promotional poster for a chosen conceptual artist. To represent the work of the infamous Damien Hirst I dissected letter-forms the same way he dissects cattle and pigs, displaying them in formaldehyde. For the catalog, we were allowed to show the work, but still had remain conceptual and unexpected. Printed on asitate paper, the catalog gets the feeling of glass tanks, and makes the whole experience very interactive.
